Face the Music has recently worked with three exciting guest conductors: Eric Jacobsen, Conductor of The Knights, Brad Lubman, Music Director and Co-Artistic Director of Signal and Michael Riesman, Music Director of the Philip Glass Ensemble. With Mr. Jacobsen they rehearsed Osvaldo Golijov’s Last Round, recently recorded by The Knights; with Mr. Lubman they rehearsed Steve Reich’s Double Sextet, recently recorded by Signal; and with Mr. Riesman they rehearsed Philip Glass’s Glassworks. Face the Music also took a tango lesson from Spanish choreographer Mayte Vicens.

Upcoming concerts include Art on the Corner (May 19), Issue Project Room (June 17), Make Music New York (June 21) and a shared concert with Philip Glass Ensemble on the River to River Festival (June 20). See the full schedule.
