Merkin Concert Hall’s recording studio recently received a substantial makeover that transformed the facility into a fully-equipped, world-class recording and broadcast studio, designed to allow for the recording and broadcast of any concert or live event, at the highest level of quality. Popular with classical ensembles, the new Bethany Millard Recording Studio has also attracted jazz performers and others including singer/songwriter Andrew Bird. New York Public Radio has taken advantage of the upgrade, live-streaming Ecstatic Music Festival concerts on their Q2 Music site and recording New Sounds Live concerts for broadcast on WNYC. The concert hall and recording studio can be used for commercial recordings and film scoring. Get more information online, or call 212 501 3345.
