Musical Evenings Benefiting Special Music School

Our Musical Evening Series offers an incredible opportunity to experience intimate recitals by world-class musicians in support of the Center's Special Music School-- New York City's only K-12 public school to include music as a part of the core curriculum. These events take place in beautiful, private homes throughout New York City, where the hosts generously underwrite the cost of the event --meaning 100% of  ticket sales and donations help to provide intensive conservatory-prep training free-of-charge to our extraordinary young Special Music School students.

The 2016-17 series is particularly special as SMS celebrates its 20th anniversary, and gears up for the graduation of its first-ever senior class in June 2017! We hope you will consider joining us as a 20th Anniversary Benefactor for performances by the esteemed Juilliard String Quartet on November 16th, and violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins with pianist Craig Ketter on April 27, 2017
