Julie Kurtzman joined the violin faculty of Lucy Moses School in 2008. She studied with Fredell Lack in Houston, TX, Ronald Patterson in Europe and Jascha Brodsky at Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. Ms. Kurtzman made her debut in 1992 at Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall. Her orchestral performances include collaborations with the Houston and the Dallas Symphony Orchestras. For eight years she was a first violinist in the Luzern Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Kurtzman appeared as a guest concertmaster with the Seville Orchestra and a frequent guest of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra. She is also a faculty member of the Dwight School and 92nd Street Y School of Music.
