Margalit Cantor, Suzuki, Cello

M.M., B.M. and Performer Diploma, Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Suzuki Certification, The School for Strings. Cello studies with Janos Starker, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, and Emilio Colon. Suzuki training with Pam Devenport. Baroque cello studies with Stanley Ritchie. Recent performances with the Charleston Symphony and in New York with Dicapo Opera Theater, Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble 212 and the Big Apple Baroque. Margalit has participated in the Aspen, Tanglewood and Eastern Music Festivals, the National Orchestra Institute and most recently, with the AIMS opera orchestra in Graz, Austria. Current faculty member, Bloomingdale School of Music. Former Faculty, Thurnauer School of Music. Cello faculty, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Thurnauer School of Music Chamber Music Camp.
