Taisiya Pushkar, Piano

An active chamber musician, pianist Taisiya Pushkar has performed in Belgrade, Helsinki, Italy, Israel, Canada and many places in the United States as part of her collaborations with various musicians. As a winner of the Oberlin Concerto Competition, Taisiya Pushkar performed Prokofiev’s 1st piano concerto with the Oberlin Orchestra, and the recording was later featured on the WQXR radio station in New York.

An experienced educator, Taisiya has been on the faculty at the Positano International Chamber Music Festival in Italy, and the Performing Arts Institute of Wyoming Seminary in Pennsylvania, and was invited as the collaborative pianist for the Interlochen Advanced Bassoon Institute in Michigan. Taisiya holds a Bachelor's Degree from Oberlin College, and a Master’s Degree from the Manhattan School of Music, where she is currently a candidate in the Doctorate program. Taisiya is also on the faculty of the Waterville Valley Music Center in New Hampshire. She is the pianist for the Fieldston High School choir program and the Melodia Women's Choir.
