A Performance by Alan Menken to Benefit the Scholarship Fund at Belvoir Terrace

Eight-time Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken will take us on a unique musical
journey through his renowned and beloved songs. This special performance will be followed by
a Q&A with the artist and post-performance reception. All proceeds are tax deductible and will
enable the Edna Y. Schwartz Scholarship Fund to support talented young women pursuing their
artistic passions at Belvoir Terrace Summer Camp. www.belvoirterrace.com

ALAN MENKEN’s stage and film musicals include Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid,
Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Aladdin, Enchanted, Sister Act, Tangled and Leap of Faith. He
has won 8 Academy Awards and the Tony Award for Best Score in 2012. His 11 Grammy
Awards include winning Song of the Year for “A Whole New World”. Alan’s other notable
achievements include Billboard’s #1 single and #1 album, induction into the Songwriters Hall of
Fame, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
