Andre Bishop & Ira Weitzman (pictured), through their stewardship of Playwrights Horizons in the 1980's and Lincoln Center Theater beginning in the 1990's, have had an incalculable impact on musical theater as it is today. You'll gain insight into the role of a producer in non-profit theater and learn firsthand how a musical goes from the page to the stage by exploring such shows as Sunday in the Park with George, Once On This Island and The Light In the Piazza.

Featuring Victoria Clark (Tony and Drama Desk Awards for The Light in the Piazza), Nikki M. James (Tony winner for Book of Mormon), Matthew Scott (Jersey Boys, Sondheim on Sondheim), Malcolm Gets (A New Brain, The Story of My Life), Michael Winther (Mamma Mia!), Lisa Howard (South Pacific, 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee), Laura Osnes (South Pacific, Bonnie & Clyde), Liz Baltes (A Minister's Wife, One Man, Two Guvnors), Will Chase (Smash, The Mystery of Edwin Drood) and Musical Director Andy Einhorn. Hosted by Sean Hartley.
