In Your Face – New York

Hosted by iconic fashion designer, cabaret star and opera devotee Isaac Mizrahi

With New Yorker writer Patricia Marx, New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast, CBS Sunday Morning reporter and Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me panelist Mo Rocca, internationally renowned "perfume nose" Ann Gottlieb, author Patricia Volk, continuing our novella "Author to Come." Former Daily Show contributor and author of "How to Be Black," Baratunde Thurston, will explore the sweet price we pay for moving to and living in New York. Music is led by jazz legend Jay Leonhart and the 1-Train Band.

In Your Face–New York captures the spirit, the energy, the music, noise and creativity of this capital of the world. The show comes to Merkin Concert Hall after sell-out performances at St. Ann’s Warehouse and Symphony Space. It’s a live performance extravaganza and also a video/audio podcast that presents the best of New York’s actors, writers, musicians and more. Previous episodes have featured Sarah Jones, Bob Balaban and WNYC’s Brian Lehrer.

$20 student tickets are available in person with ID.
