The Young New Yorkers' Chorus is a nationally celebrated ensemble dedicated to presenting new music by young and distinctive composers.  Under the leadership of Michael Kerschner, YNYC has been the launching point for the careers of singers and composers from around the world.
Mohammed Fairouz is one of the most frequently performed composers of his generation and has been described as an important new artistic voice.  The dramatic Anything Can Happen, composed in collaboration with poet Seamus Heaney, will be presented with the world premiere of Fairouz's setting of Yeats's Second Coming.
