Musica de Camara Orchestra - Puerto Rican Music & More!

The Musica de Camara Orchestra will perform "Puerto Rican Music and More!"

This concert will feature the world premiere of "La Plena" by Manuel Calzada.  This piece, commissioned by Musica de Camara, is based on the Plena rhythms from the coasts of Puerto Rico and features, as soloists, the Plena percussion ensemble Siembra Maestra. The concert will also include other works by Puerto Rican and Latin American composers.
