The program celebrates two of the twentieth century's greatest balladeers, the Belgian-born Jacques Brel and Frenchman Charles Trénet, and will include some of their most famous pieces–Brel's "Ne me quitte pas" and "Madeleine," and Trenet's "Que reste-t-il de nos amours" and "La mer"–along with many of their less well-known treasures.
Artists include French mezzo-soprano Marie Lenormand, tenor Philippe Pierce, renowned accordion player Bill Schimmel and banjo player & guitarist Greg Utzig with Steven Blier at the piano.
