Poppy Seed Players: Judy and the Maccabees

In this delightful re-imagining of the ancient Hanukkah story, Judy is a feisty young girl who leaves her father to help the Maccabees in their fight against King Antiochus. At first, Judas Maccabeus, the leader of the Maccabees, dismisses Judy and assigns her menial tasks, but she ends up coming up with the plan that helps them win the war and return to Jerusalem! In the final scene, they experience the miracle of the Temple Menorah. Hanukkah begins Dec 8.
