Previous experience in an individual lesson area is not required!

IMPROVISATION LESSONS PROGRAM

All Face the Music students are encouraged to explore creative music making beyond written compositions on the page. For those who may like to start from square one, or for improvisors looking to or hone or expand their current skills, Face the Music now offers Improvisation Lessons. Students will be expected to play their instrument in lessons to actively explore and practice the art of improvisation. Individual lessons can be a powerful setting to build familiarity, tools, and creativity that they can incorporate with confidence into improvisatory ensemble playing. At Face the Music, all students are encouraged to try improvisation as the ability to create music in the moment can open doors for modern performers.
