The Sun Post of Miami, Florida said of her solo performance with North Miami Beach Symphony "Ms. Kim proved to be an artist of sensibility. Her playing delighted the audience."

Ms. Kim has collaborated with distinguished pianists Jacob Lateiner and Seymour Lipkin on the major recital repertoire and gave numerous concerts in New York City. Her performances also include recitals in Iowa under the auspices of the Des Moines Women's Club, and in Chicago on the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series, a live syndicated radio broadcast.

Ms. Kim is a dedicated teacher and believes it is a great privilege to "train and inspire the next generation of professional cellists." In addition to teaching at Lucy Moses School, she is currently on the faculty of the Prep division of Mannes School of Music The New School in Manhattan.

Ms. Kim is a graduate of the Juilliard School where she studied with Channing Robbins and Harvey Shapiro. She is playing on a Lorenzo Ventapane cello made in the 18th century.
