HILARY HAHN & KRONOS QUARTET TO PERFORM AT MUSICAL EVENINGS
What could be better than enjoying cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and phenomenal performances by world-renowned musicians in a beautiful private home? When you attend a Musical Evening, you help make it possible for the children at Kaufman Music Center’s Special Music School, a public school for musically gifted children, to receive all the benefits of a top-notch music education at no cost to their families. This season’s Musical Evenings began on November 15 with pianist Conrad Tao (above with members of the Pannonia Quartet: Ben Goldstein, Javen Lara, Emma Ike and Irene Chun) at the home of Marcia and David Lavipour and continue on February 11 with the acclaimed violinist Hilary Hahn and May 8 with the Kronos Quartet. Proceeds from Musical Evenings support the Special Music School’s music program, which is funded solely by Kaufman Music Center through private donations.
