Where
We meet at Kaufman Music Center on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Sign-in sheets are on the 3rd floor, opposite the elevator.
Trial Session
All new players are invited to attend one "trial" session, at no cost, at the beginning of the season, or later at your convenience. We hope that you will find our format to your liking, and decide to join as a full member! Drop us a line so we know when to expect you, and we will make sure you get introduced to our system.
The Pros
Our coaches are highly trained musicians with extensive teaching, coaching and performance experience, and string pros are typically graduates or students of Juilliard, Mannes and Manhattan Schools of Music.
Donations
Tuition and fees cover faculty coaches, professional musicians, library purchases, and operating expenses. Administrative duties are performed by the Board of CMA on a volunteer basis.
Donations are also gratefully received, and will be acknowledged by letter.
Year-End Concert
The full-year season will conclude with a year-end concert in Ann Goodman Recital Hall, for those members who wish to perform.
