Lucy Moses School's Vocal Collective is an exciting, collaborative singing group for middle and high school students. Equal parts choir, vocal band and musical community, it is a space to explore the art of group singing in contemporary styles that YOU love, whether it be pop, rock, folk, R&B, alternative and anything outside/unlabeled/in between. Together, we will curate and learn a diverse collection of songs, write our own original music, and combine sound with movement. We will listen to and talk about our favorite music and why we love it. Along the way, we will work on ear training, simple to complex harmony building, improvisation, and healthy vocal technique. The class will culminate in a fun final show.
