June 30 – July 31, 2025
One of the longest-running and most popular theater camp experiences in New York City, Summer Musical Theater Workshop takes kids through the exhilarating process of rehearsing and performing in original musical plays.
Campers gain confidence and make lifelong friends as they develop skills in acting, singing, movement and stagecraft. Working with professional directors, writers, composers and choreographers in groups of kids their own age, they participate in fun, active classes throughout the day, and experience the excitement of performing on the stage of one of New York’s major concert halls for a finale performance.
“I have never seen a theatrical enterprise that combines rigor and warmth, inventiveness and discipline, playfulness and serious of purpose in the inimitable way that you do at the Summer Musical Theater Workshop. My son bloomed under the wise and supportive tutelage of his team. He has gained such confidence, focus and sense of mastery.” – Summer Musical Theater Workshop Parent
“The workshop feels like family. I can’t wait to come back!” – Camper
Now in its 35th year, the workshop is proud to welcome students of all ages and skill levels, where campers blossom and thrive alongside their peers, and return year after year to join their friends and create the most unforgettable memories.
Initial tuition deposit is $275. Annual registration fee may apply. The remaining balance is due on May 1.
