French Horn; She has degrees in music performance from SUNY at Stony Brook and the Manhattan School of Music. Ms. Garson joined the Lucy Moses School faculty as French horn instructor in 1998. She has a very active teaching studio. In addition to teaching at LMS, she is the horn instructor at the Special Music School and the Allen-Stevenson School. Ms. Garson free lances in the metropolitan area and has performed with many groups, including the New Jersey Symphony, Stamford Symphony, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, Ballet Hispanico, Connecticut Grand Opera, North-South Consonance and the pit orchestra of the Broadway show: Les Miserables. Further from home, she has performed with Virginia Opera, Sarasota Opera, the L’Orchestra Sinfonica de Colombia, Opera Lirico Sperimentale in Spoletto and toured in Europe with “Evita.” She can be heard on several recordings including the following labels: Albany, Opus One and North/South."
