Viktor Basis has been on the faculty of LMS and SMS since 1999. His students have won numerous prizes in international and national competitions and continued their music studies in leading conservatories. Mr. Basis participated in Suolahty Music Festival (Finland), InterHarmony festival (Germany and Netherlands) and Cremona Academy (Italy).
Viktor graduated from the Gnessin Academy in Moscow, Russia, where his major teachers were M. Fikhtengolz and V. Berlinsky.
