This 100-year survey of gay and lesbian writers and characters on Broadway from 1920-2020 chronicles the long transformation from closeted writers and coded imagery on Broadway to more open depictions of gay and lesbian experience beginning in the 1970s and 80s. Featuring songs by Cole Porter, Noël Coward, Stephen Sondheim, Lisa Kron, Jerry Herman, Bill Finn and many more. With Tony nominees Lee Roy Reams (42nd Street) and Beth Malone (Fun Home), Nick Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Michael Winther (Mamma Mia!), Jason Robinson, Klea Blackhurst, Edward Hibbert, Nick Cearley, Adam Kantor, Andrew Lippa and Stephen Flaherty.
