A Q2 Music Presentation; video webcast live on q2music.org
Hailed as a sophisticated new pop voice, the "irresistibly charming" (thedeli.com) Brooklyn-based indie trio Hospitality combines wistful, ethereal vocals with some weighty ideas about life in transition. They'll team up with the new music wunderkinds Pannonia Quartet, from Kaufman Music Center's Face the Music, the ensemble the New York Times has called "a force in the New York new-music world," to kick off the 2014 Ecstatic Music Festival. The two groups will give the world premiere of Hospitality member Nathan Michel's Offshore and perform arrangements of the band's songs. Hospitality will perform a set from their ambitious new record, Trouble. Hosted by Q2 Music’s Helga Davis.
Tickets are available at The Greene Space box office. Merkin Concert Hall pricing and subscription offers do not apply.
