Belarusian-American cellist Mark Prihodko, proclaimed by Minnesota Public Radio as “one of the most talented and promising young performers of our time," makes his Merkin Hall debut.
Internationally renowned pianist Tatiana Goncharova, hailed by The Washington Post as “a musician of a brilliant career,” will join Mark on stage for this special evening.
Known for his “rigorous programming” (Barcelona Classica) and “astonishing virtuosic and spellbinding lyrical command over the instrument,” (Pioneer Press) Mr. Prihodko has prepared a special program featuring three sonatas that form the landscape of cello repertoire from Baroque to Contemporary.
