Experience the magnificent music of Fryderyk Chopin, including his classics from Roman Polanski’s "The Pianist,'' Discover works by the eponymous pianist Władysław Szpilman, deeply human music of the Holocaust survivors: Mieczyslaw Weinberg, Szymon Laks - head of the Auschwitz-Birkenau prisoners Orchestra, Roman Ryterband, and Alexandre Tansman, saved by Charlie Chaplin.

This moving concert organized on the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising is a tribute to the people who performed extraordinary acts of courage in defense of human dignity during World War II and the Holocaust.The evening will begin with an exhibition, followed by a historical footage and a concert featuring outstanding artists from Poland, Canada and Ukraine
