The NYC Master Chorale is proud to present James Whitbourn's Annelies, the group's first performance of the 2023-2024 season. Annelies, which premiered in 2005, is the first major setting of passages from The Diary of Anne Frank, written for chorus, soprano solo, and chamber ensemble. This remarkable and moving work invites both musicians and audience members to share music, space, and time for reflection. NYCMC exists to celebrate the dynamic and diverse city of New York and to create opportunities for interconnectedness, just as this piece offers. We hope you will join us on November 12.
NYCMC concerts are free for children under 18 and tickets are always available on a sliding scale. Everyone is welcome. Please email us with any questions at email@example.com and save the dates of March 8, March 10, and May 18 for the remainder of this season.
