Yinghan Hannah Wang (18 years old) is currently pursuing her piano studies under the tutelage of the Taiwanese-American classical pianist and educator Ching-Yun Hu since 2019. In 2017, she was admitted to the Middle School Affiliated with the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and studied under the Chinese pianist Tang Jin. She began her studies under Elise Yun, a piano professor from Ohio State University, and Li Xiaoqian, a pianist from the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra.

Yinghan has won domestic and international piano competitions, including being a finalist in the 2023 Yamaha Senior International Piano Competition, second place in the 2022 Philadelphia International Piano Competition, first place in the 2019 Steinway Junior Piano Competition, and second place in the 2019 Hartford Chopin International Piano Competition. In 2017 she won second place in the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Concerto Competition.

In 2019, she held her first recital in Philadelphia, performing complete Chopin etudes, which received a great response. She performed live works of Beethoven and Prokofiev on WRTI Classical Radio in Philadelphia as a special guest. In 2017, she debuted with the Youth Symphonic Orchestra of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, playing Mozart Concerto No. 17 in G Major, K. 453.

From 2020-2023, Yinghan performed outstandingly at the PYPA Piano Festival and received high praises from masters such as Gary Graffman, Jerome Lowenthal, Dang Thai Son, Alexander Korsentia, Lydia Artymiw, Michael Lewin, Ursula Oppens, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Douglas Humpherys, Pierre van der Westhuizen, Alon Goldstein, Yoheved Kaplinsky etc. She was selected as one of the nine young pianists worldwide to join the PYPA Young Virtuosi Academy and one of the six young artists to participate in the 2022 Bachauer International Piano Festival. In 2023, she played in the PYPA Musical Soirée Series and will continue to perform in the remaining sessions in 2024.
