20th Anniversary Play-A-Thon

Young musicians from Kaufman Music Center's Special Music School (SMS), NYC’s only K-12 public school for musically gifted children, will celebrate the school’s 20th Anniversary with free public concerts throughout the city. At SMS, each student receives a full music scholarship from Kaufman Music Center worth over $8,000 per year.

Friday, May 12

• 5-7 pm – Port Authority Bus Terminal
(Sing for Hope Piano at the Port Authority Performing Arts Stage)
• 5-8 pm – The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Special Music School High School’s Advanced Men’s Chorus - Teens Take the Met
5 pm - outside 81st & 83rd St. entrances
5:30 pm - Great Hall staircase overlooking the lobby
6 pm - Medieval Hall (first floor)
Face the Music youth new music ensemble - ETHEL and Friends series
Great Hall Balcony Bar (arrive early to get a table!)
