The Juilliard School

Li Lin’s students have won top prizes at competitions including the Queen Elisabeth, Tchaikovsky, Menuhin, Louis Spohr, Stradivarius, Sarasate, Wieniawski, and Young Concert Artists competitions. His students have collaborated with the Cleveland Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, St. Martin in the Fields, London Chamber Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Boston Pops, Salt Lake City Symphony, Sinfonia Cymru, Staatskapelle Weimar Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfonica De Navarra, China NCPA Orchestra, and the China Philharmonic. Born in in Guangzhou, China, Lin received his BM from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and his MM from Eastman School of Music. Lin serves as a guest clinician and a master class teacher at music schools and festivals in North America, Europe, and China. He is a faculty member at the Perlman Music Program and was formerly a faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for more than two decades. He has been a member of the Juilliard faculty since 2014.
