An intensive week of music-making, friendship and fun! Advanced violinists, violists and cellists age 10-23 are invited to join us for a week of chamber music and small ensembles, workshops, performances and a final concert in Merkin Hall.

Optional: A 50% discount is available for up to 5 individual lessons with Kaufman Music Center's faculty prior to the Festival for all String Fest registered students. Tuition for the 5-day program includes all coachings, classes, and activities. Students are required to bring their own brown bag lunches.
Required Audition Repertoire - Junior Advanced
- Any work at the level of Bach concerto in A minor or above - violin/viola
- Sammartini/ Berteau Sonata in G major - cello
- 3 octave scales
Required Audition Repertoire - Advanced
- 2 contrasting pieces or movements of an advanced concerto
- 3 octave scales and arpeggios
- Movement of unaccompanied Bach
