This class introduces basic piano skills and technique to young musicians studying a different instrument, supporting their growth as well-rounded musicians. Through traditional piano exercises and modified Dalcroze games, students will learn keyboard orientation and basic fingering technique, build fluency in treble and bass clef reading, and be able to play simple pieces. Only minimal routine practice is required for this class.
*SMS students require approval from their primary instrument teacher.*
The final class swill be open to parents and caregivers. Class size maximum of 6.
