Celebrating Betty Buckley: New Ways to Dream

American Songbook Association/Cabaret Scenes magazine presents its fourth annual Lifetime Achievement Award to Tony Award winner Betty Buckley (Cats), star of Broadway and London stages (1776, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Sunset Boulevard, Pippin, Carrie), film (Carrie, Tender Mercies), and television (Eight Is Enough, Law & Order: SVU, Oz), as well as concert and cabaret stages. Scheduled to perform are F. Murray Abraham, Bryan Batt, Sandra Bernhard, Jason Robert Brown, Sharon Catherine Brown, Mario Cantone, Patti Cohenour, Veanne Cox, Elizabeth Davis, Paul Hecht, Rupert Holmes, Joe Iconis, Howard McGillin, Bonnie Milligan, Jessie Mueller, Donna Murphy, Orfeh, Ken Page, Christine Pedi, Kurt Peterson, Seth Rudetsky, Scott Schwartz, Stephen Schwartz, Jennifer Simard, and Michael Wilson. Also that evening, pianist and music director Seth Rudetsky, host on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s On Broadway, receives the second annual Bill Sensenbrenner Dream Maker Award, given to a leader in the art and business communities who exhibits a passion for investing in the cultural capital of our youth.
