Chamber works honoring musics and cultures from around the globe
Shirish Korde's premiere is based on medieval Middle East/Persian mythology – a poem by Attar about our human struggle, physical and spritual. Other works reach into Cuban, Israeli, African-American, Nepalese, and Caribbean influences, honoring these deeply expressive and exciting expansions of artistic experience.
