This new series of public masterclasses features celebrated performers and educators coaching Kaufman Music Center students from our Lucy Moses School, a community arts school for all ages, and Special Music School, New York’s only K-12 public school prioritizing an intensive, immersive and musically-focused education without financial barriers.
Hailed "Queen of the flute" by New York Magazine, Grammy nominee Carol Wincenc was first prize winner of the Naumburg Solo Flute Competition as well as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Flute Association and the National Society of Arts and Letters Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement in Music.
