Nashir! The Rottenberg Chorale

Nashir! The Rottenberg Chorale performs Jewish music spanning centuries and continents. In residence at Kaufman Music Center's Lucy Moses School since 1975, Nashir! brings a sense of joy and passion to repertoire both spiritual and whimsical.

This year’s eclectic program features music from the ancient to the cutting edge in Hebrew, English, Ladino and Yiddish. Pieces include choral favorites from David Burger and Simon Sargon, numbers from a cappella rising star Mayta Cohen and Broadway legend Stephen Schwartz, and a celebrated gem by Benjie Schiller.
