Early Works by Great Composers explores piano pieces written by young composers as one of their first compositions. The program will include works by 17-year-old Beethoven, 17-year-old Borodin, 21-year-old Brahms, 27-year-old Debussy, 20-year-old Schumann, 27-year-old Scriabin, and more!
Our program features NYPS Performing Members who are concert pianists with professions in fields other than music, in collaboration with string ensemble "Opus 21" and NYPS Artists-in-Residence, violinist Hana Mundiya and cellist Leland Ko.
