Tenor and 2023-24 Kaufman Music Center Artist-in-Residence Nicholas Phan is hailed as “one of the world’s most remarkable singers” (Boston Globe), “one of the most beautiful young lyric voices around” (Opera News) and “an artist who must be heard” (NPR). He’ll join the “sonically delightful and expressively compelling” (The Strad) Jasper String Quartet and Grammy-nominated pianist Myra Huang for an evening of art song across eras and featuring the world premiere of Vivian Fung’s Lamenting Earth.
