On September 10, 2026 — the eve of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we gather to look back on the event that changed New York, America, and the world forever, and to take an unflinching look at the aftermath and historical resonance of that day.

The program features the leaders who directed the unprecedented, ground-breaking operations at Fresh Kills, the Port Authority, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, sharing their firsthand accounts in conversation. The evening includes an exclusive screenings of rare, never-before seen documentary footage — including the curation of the first museum exhibits — and closes with family members reflecting on their experiences since September 11th.
