Join us for an unflinching look at the aftermath of that day, offering a deeply personal glimpse into a historic effort. We’re bringing together the extraordinary leaders who directed operations at Fresh Kills, the Port Authority, and the Medical Examiner’s office, as well as the first Museum curators, to share their firsthand eyewitness accounts of the unprecedented response. The discussion will also feature an exclusive screening of rare, never-before-seen archival footage.
