Skylar Brandt, American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer and revered international pianist Vladimir Rumyantsev make their professional and personal debuts as partners in this beautifully curated classical music and ballet concert. Programming includes works by Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Saint-Saëns and Feinberg with special arrangements by Rumyantsev, inspired by his invitations to perform with the world’s most prestigious dance companies. It will also feature the world premiere of No. 1, composed by Brandt’s mother at the young age of 16 years old. Set to her mother’s music, Brandt will make her choreographic debut with a solo entitled “For Mom” and will also perform a piece based on “Le Cygne” from The Carnival of the Animals.
