Widely regarded as the most influential musical theater writer of the late 20th century, Stephen Sondheim is celebrated for his sophisticated lyrics, inventive scores and psychologically complex characters. Through songs, sing-alongs, skits and games, the Broadway Playhouse cast shows kids how Sondheim inherited the Rodgers & Hammerstein tradition and transformed it into the modern musical, with songs from Into the Woods, Gypsy, Follies and Sweeney Todd.

2026-27 tickets go on sale in July.
