That’s How We Met: The Engagement

American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Skylar Brandt and internationally acclaimed pianist Vladimir Rumyantsev return to the stage as fiancés in their second concert of classical music and ballet, That’s How We Met: The Engagement. They will celebrate their love with pieces by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and Balakirev. As a seasonal treat, Rumyantsev will also play Pletnev’s arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite. Brandt will perform excerpts from Les Sylphides and Carmen as well as another world premiere of her own choreography, set to Lyadov’s Prelude in B minor, Op. 11 No. 1.
