Unlike any other Classical Music competition, The World’s Biggest Stage (previously Getting to Carnegie) aims to find the biggest new classical talents without a professional jury - in fact, the winner is chosen directly by you, the audience!  This riveting contest pits four young violinists against each other in a World Premiere performance of Julian’s Violin Sonata No 5 “The Journey”.  Previous Violin Edition winner María Dueñas went on to win the Menuhin Competition and get signed by Deutsche Grammophon.

Brainchild of pianist, composer, and Steinway Artist Julian Gargiulo, whose mission is to make Classical Music more interactive, relatable, and fun, this competition serves as the perfect vehicle with the audience directly involved in the decision making process.

The concert will be live-streamed thanks to the generosity of the Violin Channel.

See you on January 14 in Merkin Hall for the Final Round - let the games begin!
