Beethoven, the Pandemic & the Power of Connection

Featuring the Horszowski Trio
Watch host Rob Kapilow introduce this series.
Listen to iconic masterpieces with new ears as NPR & PBS music commentator, conductor, composer, author and pianist Rob Kapilow shows you what you've been missing!

Ticket buyers will receive an email with a link to this concert before the performance.

Widely considered to be the greatest piano trio ever written – the equivalent in the piano trio repertoire of the Fifth Symphony or the Emperor Concerto – this iconic work boldly replaces the polite, private, amateur world of chamber music with virtuosic, public music of symphonic scope.

Ask Rob anything at a live post-concert Q&A! You can either:

  • Participate in the chat and ask questions via YouTube once the stream begins (you'll need to login to your Gmail or YouTube account).
  • Email your questions to us anytime, either in advance or during the performance.

Email us your questions for Rob.

All Fall 2020 Kaufman Music Center performances are online, filmed in safe, socially distanced locations observing health and safety protocols, and streamed to the safety of your home.
