Celebrate the start of Kaufman Music Center’s new season with FREE performances featuring some of our stellar 2023–24 artists and outstanding students from Special Music School and Lucy Moses School. Join us for music, food, drinks and fun!

  • Broadway star Nikki Renée Daniels (Company, Hamilton, The Book of Mormon)
  • What Makes It Great? host Rob Kapilow
  • Celebrated pianists Adam Tendler and Conor Hanick performing works by queer iconoclasts Steve Martland and Julius Eastman
  • Comedian and violist Isabel Hagen, a Tonight Show veteran
  • Peter Dugan, acclaimed pianist and host of NPR’s From the Top
  • Accomplished soloists from Kaufman’s Special Music School and Lucy Moses School

And explore:

  • An interactive plant instrument hand-crafted by composer and Kaufman Artist-in-Residence Angélica Negrón
  • A community performance of Terry Riley’s seminal “in C”
  • American Songbook classics performed by ensembles from Lucy Moses School’s Adult Division Jazz Program
