Summer Musical Theater Workshop

NYC offers many summer activities for kids, but where else can they perform original musicals written just for them on the stage of a major concert hall? Kids age 6-16 participate in all aspects of producing original musical plays in this five-week workshop, which culminates in a full-scale production in Merkin Hall. This summer’s stories will have a “spooky summer” theme! Campers will perform in six original musicals, some serious and some funny, based on eerie tales of ghosts, mysteries and the supernatural.

Campers work under the direction of a caring and talented faculty of performing artists/educators, taking classes in acting, singing, dance and stagecraft, and working with professional directors.

Initial tuition deposit is $275.  Annual registration fee may apply.
