Join us to explore basic tap steps, creating sounds and rhythms with our feet! Steps learned include toes, heels, shuffles, ball change, falaps and many more. As students master the basics, we'll incorporate more difficult and combination tap steps, plus traveling steps across the floor. Tap shoes required - please bring them to the first class so everyone can enjoy making sounds with their feet!
The curriculum is designed to continue through the Fall and Spring semesters. Students are encouraged to register for the same day and time for both Fall and Spring. Spring classes with a minimum age of 4 or older culminate in a performance in May in Merkin Hall.
