Jazz & Broadway II/III

Jazz, modern, ethnic and theater ballet styles and techniques are explored in this fun and challenging class, where students develop coordination while dancing to music from Broadway, Jazz and the classics. Warm-ups include body isolations, stretching and strength building exercises. Students create and develop their own dances.

The curriculum is designed to continue through the Fall and Spring semesters. Students are encouraged to register for the same day and time for both Fall and Spring. Spring classes with a minimum age of 4 or older culminate in a performance in May in Merkin Hall.
