This course uses composition, analysis, and transcription activities to study harmonic techniques that are outside of the box of tonality, including set classes, intervallic patterns and other musical spaces. Individual projects invite students to pursue their unique musical interests. Prerequisite for this class: Advanced Theory: Harmony & Form II
