Instrumentalists with strong technical ability on their instrument have the opportunity to play and perform together in small chamber combinations. Piano, string and wind players are grouped into duos, trios, quartets and quintets, and are coached weekly by master teachers in a wide range of repertoire. Students participating in chamber music are required to have strong sight reading skills and are expected to rehearse weekly with a faculty coach.
Chamber groups are formed in the beginning of the academic year. Placement during the year is also possible. Chamber groups meet weekly, with the day of the week dependent on group and coach preferences.
