Parsla Vintere teaches an intermediate to advanced level ballet class based on the Vaganova (Russian) Ballet Method, consisting of warm-up exercises, formal, complex ballet barre, center and ballet routine combinations. Advanced students study pointe work. All students will learn classical ballet terms and concepts, work on developing proper classical ballet movement technique and have the opportunity to perform in a spring dance recital. Ballet I/II is a transitional class for the students with the experience of Ballet I curriculum looking to advance into Ballet II, and students who are just starting Ballet II.
The curriculum is designed to continue through the Fall and Spring semesters. Students are encouraged to register for the same day and time for both Fall and Spring. Students enrolling in Fall and Spring Dance classes together receive a 10% discount on the Spring class tuition.
Spring classes with a minimum age of 4 and beyond culminate in a performance in May in Merkin Hall.
Summer classes are standalone.
Please visit the Dance Program Page for attire info, discounts, and recital information.
